We have some very loyal listeners. Many of you have contacted us to see if there is a way you can help defray the massive costs we incur in producing the show.
Well now there is a way…
TWIP Apparel
We’re starting small with just a ball cap and a travel/photo vest. We will add items soon. We want to gauge the level of interest and support before we take too big a leap.
If you want to support TWIP, plus have some cool gear besides, here’s what we’re offering.
We have the Scottevest Travel Vest. (sand color) Sizes Medium through XL. These vests have 22 pockets so they are like a bonus carryon. They’re lightweight, comfortable and breathable. They’re coated to be water resistant. The TWIP logo appears on the left breast.
$125 including shipping in the USA via Priority Mail only. $150 outside the US* via courier.
US Only may purchase through Google Checkout.

These are available in EXTREMELY small quantities. First come, first served. In order to purchase, please send a check or money order to:

Be sure to include your email or telephone number and a shipping address. There is a $40 returned check charge for NSF checks. Please allow two to four weeks for shipping.
Hats are one size fit all - they fit even Scott’s big head! And the vests are M-XXL - PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR SIZE. If you fail to include a size we will send you whatever we have on hand. There are NO REFUNDS or returns so purchase accordingly.
*International orders must send US funds via an international money order. Limit one hat and one vest per address.

What? No online purchase? For shame! Here I was, digging my credit card out, ready to buy a hat from 15 to 40 bucks, and I have to mail a check? Please!
I’ll try, but it’s alot harder if you don’t offer online purchase options. Just keep that in mind for the future.

Evan we’re hoping to add that any time. And of course we’re hoping that people are buying these to support our effort. Those who do not support our effort will likely not be willing to go the extra mile. We understand that. It’s good to know who your friends are.

UPDATE - we have the checkout code done sooner than I thought we would. It’s only available for online purchase for USA residents due to our arrangement with Google Checkout. You may also still send a check or money order. We won’t be using PayPal.

I heard you guys talking negatively about paypal and i was kinda wondering why the hate? Is it a matter of their fees? I’ve always liked their service for sending and receiving funds. Is google checkout much better on the selling end?

Can you help with the sizes and dimensions? Is the vest cut for a man’s body? Where are the pockets? Can we see photos of front, back, inside? Thanks!!

Olga the vest is cut for a man. The sizes are as stated - medium though XXL. Here is a sizing chart.
Jackets, Vests, TEC Shirt, Microfleece
Measurements
M Neck Size 15-15.5
L Neck Size 16-16.5
XL Neck Size 17-17.5
XXL Neck Size 18-18.5
XXXL Neck Size 19-19.5
With 22 pockets they are just about everywhere on the vest.

Love the photo vest & looking forward to supporting TWIP, but for those of us smaller people, we’re going to be swimming in it if the smallest available is a men’s cut size medium! Aren’t there enough TWIPper women to justify availability of smaller sizes? If not, I guess I could use it as an exceedingly unique nightgown…

Wish I could afford the vest right now but being a college students means I could only just afford my camera. I would love to see a TWIP camera strap though or something else along those lines.

My wife and I both already have the vest, based on your recommendation on the show a couple months ago. I have just placed an order for your hat. With luck, it will arrive before the end of Sept, so I can wear it the entire month of Oct in Spain on our trip there.

T-Shirts are coming but it will be another eight weeks. Send an email if you order a vest telling me your size or put it in the comments on Google Checkout.

Hey,
I’m in Canada and would lve to order a hat, but a cheque would
take around 4 days to get there. I’m wondering if we are allowed to
“reserve” a hat so they don’t all go! Also, is there a picture of the
hat somewhere? I’ve looked at the ones on their site, but I’m wondering
where the twip logo is placed.

Hi Kevin sorry we can’t reserve. It’s first check in etc. I’ve tried reservations before and then folks don’t come through. If the hats are gones - we’ll make more so you’ll get your check back and another chance. The logo is dead center of the hat above the bill.

Thanks for the vest dimensions info, Scott! But we need items for women. There *are* women who are devoted TWIP fans, like myself, and would love to support this endeavor and advertise it by buying: a (women’s) t-shirt, a (women’s) polo-shirt, a tote, a mug, etc.

I ordered my vest! Big TWIP fan as well as ScottEvest fan (my 8th or so).
Looking forward to the TWIP photography is not a crime t-shirt. Though I would love one with photography is not a crime on the front.
