Photoshop’s cloning tool isn’t the most popular tool on the screen anymore. In the old days, when there was no Patch Tool or Healing Brush, it was king. But sometimes, you still need your old friend the Cloning Stamp. So here’s a tip.
When you want to spot prints in Photoshop use the clone tool. To get the most out of this tool, carefully select a good area that you want to copy. Then adjust the brush size to match the size of the dust mark or spot you want to remove. Be sure to use a brush that has a soft edge to make sure your cloning blends well. In difficult situations, adjusting the opacity of the clone tool will make blending easier.
